The story continues
Herotel’s journey began in 2013 with a bold vision: to connect all South Africans to faster, more affordable internet. This vision gained momentum through the unification of 30 independent, owner-operated businesses, which now proudly operate as part of the Herotel family.
By bringing these businesses together, we aimed to revolutionise an industry in need of change. Internet connectivity is more than a convenience—it’s an essential tool for education, earning a living, staying connected with loved ones, and unwinding after a busy day. Through our state-of-the-art fibre and wireless networks, we empower our customers to be champions within their communities.
Today, the Herotel Group stands as the largest fixed wireless internet provider in South Africa and a significant player in the fibre industry. Our mission is to bring fast, affordable internet to as many South Africans as we can, one connection at a time.
